A little light reading…

January 18, 2011

The Flathead Valley finally has a regular poetry gathering, thanks to the hard work of organizer Leigh Ann DiDomenico and to The Boiler Room coffeehouse, which is giving us the space for a weekly poetry open-mic. And a much needed space it seems to be, given the number of poets and attentive poetry fans who have turned out for just the first two readings.

If you’re in the area, be sure to check it out (details are on my Future Readings page). If you’re not in the area, poet and rapper Mat Lee of The Jamhole is putting clips on YouTube from the readings.

Poems in this reading are “Stepping Up,” “Free Bird,” and “3 a.m.”
